Anuradhapura is one of the Ancient Sri Lankan capital cities which is situated in Northern Province 200Km away from Colombo in Sri Lanka. The City Anuradhapura has played a very major role in the journey of Sri Lankan Kingdoms, and it was the third capital city of Kingdom Rajarata. As well as The Moonstone, Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi Vihara, Abayagiri Dagaba, Kuttam Pokuna, Ruwanweli Saya Stupa, Isurumuniya, Thuparama are very famous places in Anuradhapura City. The ponds of the Anuradhapura Era make the geologists wondered how they were built by the hands of human. But, the history says, those ponds were constructed with the help of big monsters.
